Floral Waters

Floral water, also known as Hydrolat, is a natural water obtained by steam distillation of a plant, flower or leaves. After decanting, we obtain an oily phase on the surface, known as the essential oil, and an aqueous phase, known as the floral water.
The latter is less rich in active ingredients than the essential oil, but has many properties.
Lavandin floral water is used as a make-up remover lotion. Soothing and healing, it works wonders on irritated skin. It is astringent for acne-prone skin. It is also refreshing and soothing when applied to sunburn.
